Welcome to Applewood Childminding, a Norwich-based childminder covering Sprowston, Old Catton and the surrounding areas.
My name is Kathryn, I run Applewood Childminding from my home in Sprowston where I live with my husband and two children.
I became a Ofsted Registered Childminder after discovering how much I loved working with children at our local school and Sprowston pre-school. I offer skills, experience and enthusiasm with a reliable childminding service for parents who would like their children to be cared for in a safe and homely environment.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and will complete a learning story during your son or daughter's time with me. I aim to help them develop emotionally, socially and intellectually.
I provide children with a warm, caring, safe and stimulating home environment where they can play and learn. Children are allowed access to the ground floor area, which is clean, pet free and child friendly. I encourage outdoor play and we have a large back garden which is fully secure and has plenty of toys and activities for your child to take part in.
Your child will participate in a normal daily routine incorporating various activities a child would ordinarily encounter with their parents, such as walks, stimulating play, craft and visits to local shops, toddler groups and parks as well as other fun activities around the house.
